Disadvantages of BulkRemoteAdmin
- The current version of application works only on networks operating
within a Domain. Computers grouped together in a Workgroup cannot
be administered using current version of BulkRemoteAdmin.
- In order to execute any process on remote computers, first you need to
copy the executable (and/or containing folder or disk image, if needed) onto these computers
using one of the BulkRemoteAdmin tasks, and only then it can be executed.
I.e. the execution of processes, batches, scripts or any other executable
code can be performed locally on the target computers. BulkRemoteAdmin,
in its turn, enables you to create and copy directories, copy files, execute
and remove files and directories, and so forth.
- In order for the BulkRemoteAdmin to work properly, the target computers must
be logged on by the network administrator. This can be done automatically by
enabling the Autologon feature.
